The Jade Oolong tea has a intriguing pronounced floral aroma, a pleasantly high amount of natural sweetness, a soft mouthfeel, a light body, and a lingering floral aftertaste.  This tea has no astringency.

About this Tea

This loose leaf Jade Oolong tea from Taiwan has been scented by placing flowering magnolia blossoms near the tea leaves shortly after being picked. 

Steep Directions

Traditional recommendations for this tea are to steep 2 tsp (3 g) of tea per 8 oz (226 g) of 180-185F water for 3-4 minutes.  This results in a tea that is much weaker than we prefer. Our recommendation is to steep 2 tsp (3 g) of tea per 4 oz (113 g) of 180-185F water for 4 minutes. Each bag contains two ounces of tea or 18 tsp. Unlike coffee, specialty teas can be brewed/steeped 2-3 times, which really makes specialty tea more economical than at first glance.
